Sun sights? We should be so lucky!

Putting the dark days of February to good use, between storm Ciara and storm Dennis, I’ve just had a great week Hamble School of Yachting doing the Royal Yachting Association Ocean Theory course and getting to grips with the basics of Astro navigation under the extremely patient guidance of instructor Ian Clover.

It was great to meet everyone on the course a good mix of commercial and leisure sailors keeping up the faith in these traditional navigation skills..
