Jay Wolfe Metal Work to supply Puffin new custom-made freshwater tanks

We’re very pleased to announce another great equipment sponsor this week who has stepped forward to support our Golden Globe Race campaign and help Puffin with her refit.

Jay Wolfe Metal Work have very kindly agreed to provide 2 new custom-made stainless steel freshwater tanks to replace Puffin’s original old and mouldy GRP tanks.

You might remember the fun we had cutting out the old tanks, well since then with the support of @C9BoatServices we’ve prepared the space and moulded a new floor ready to take the shiny new tanks.

It was quite exciting to see the tanks slipping into place for the dry fit; Jenny and the team at Jay Wolfe have really done us proud here with some great workmanship.

Jay Wolfe Metalwork is a family run business who offer high quality metal fabrication services to a wide variety of industries. They specialise in metal tanks and produce a wide array of tanks ranging from boat fuel tanks to large industrial mixing vessels.
