Imray sign up as Official Supplier for Golden Globe Race campaign

Nautical charts experts Imray have recently signed up as HJ Sailing’s Official Chart and Pilotage Supplier for the 2022 Golden Globe Race campaign.

“Ian’s embarking on an inspiring and challenging adventure through the Golden Globe Race, and we’re proud that Imray can be part of his story,” reveals Lucy Wilson, Managing Director at Imray.

“Our charts and books are the perfect source of information for him to plan and navigate safely as he goes.”

As part of the agreement, Imray have supplied charts covering all the areas which Ian will need to plan his route during the race.

“It’s going to be great to work with Lucy and the team at Imray, not only do they have an amazing history as company, they really do go back to golden age of sail,” explains Ian.

“But they’re also bang up to date with the latest technology for printing high-quality and long-lasting paper charts, with some great added details for small boat sailors.

“The team have already equipped me with the Imray charts and pilot books for the UK and North Atlantic to use on my qualifying voyages this year and l plan to be work with the team put together the entire circumnavigation pack for the Golden Globe Race in early 2022.”
