Fast and fresh passage to Whitehaven

We had a good fast, if chilly, passage to Whitehaven last week with the help of Peter Ratcliffe in preparation for Puffin’s big electrical refit at UK Marine Electronics Ltd with the new Victron Energy B.V. kit.
We had a good fast, if chilly, passage to Whitehaven last week with the help of Peter Ratcliffe in preparation for Puffin’s big electrical refit at UK Marine Electronics Ltd with the new Victron Energy B.V. kit.
We took full advantage of the near spring tide for fast journey around Anglesey and arrived at Whitehaven Marina in perfect time for the “free flow” through the lock gates.
Thanks to Simone, Andy and Richard from the Marina team for finding a good spot for Puffin near the main access ramp to make the work as easy as possible over the next couple of weeks.
Pleased to report that Puffin and the Hydrovane performed perfectly, as did Peter of course…
